Aaron and Rachel – Wedding in Richland, WA

What I will always remember about Aaron and Rachel is how sweet they are as individuals and as a couple. You can’t help but be excited for them when you hear them talk about their plans together as they seek to finish school, begin their careers, and start a family. I really enjoyed their ceremony because it was filled with significance. The prayer shawl the Aaron wore is a family heirloom, they incorporated Jewish traditions in their Christian ceremony, and Rachel’s parents gave a special prayer over the newly married couple. Very cool. As you look over these photos, pay particular attention to Aaron’s expressions…they tell a GREAT story and demonstrate how much these two love each other. Congratulations, Aaron and Rachel!

A Tribute to Yolanda for Mother’s Day

The kids and I made a special present for Yolanda this year. It took a while, but we were all patient with each other…mostly. Afterwards, we talked about how special their Mommy is. For example, “Mommy” is probably the MOST uttered word in our household. It seems like “Mommy” precedes every word and/or sentence out of their little mouths. More than that, Mommy is the person they run to in joy and in sorrow. She leads them in their faith like no one else, and she weaves herself into their very characters. Just like God planned it (In 2Timothy 3:14-15, Paul reminds Timothy that he learned spiritual truth from his mother and his grandmother)! They are blessed with a wonderful and faithful Mommy. Happy Mother’s Day, Yolanda!

Pat and Kate – Wedding Engagement Portraits in Kennewick, WA

Editing photos and listening to my favorite band, Needtobreathe…good times.  Pat and Kate seem like a perfect fit.  She’s coy, he’s outgoing.  They both love old Camaros and they are both railroad kids.  That doesn’t mean that they are hobos…it means both of their families worked for the railroad!  Anyway, we had a blast and they will be getting married later this summer, so stay tuned.
